I used a white pipe cleaner to thread the beads, it worked decently and fit the beads with small holes:)

In reply to Lois. Hi Lois. The beads are craft beads. I bought mine from a local craft store but you can get something similar on either amazon or eBay. Jewelry beads tend to have smaller holes and might not work for this pattern.

Pearl beads I found have too small a hole for darning needle with yarn to go through.
Can you suggest where to find pearl beads with large enough hole to accomedate the smallest of darning needles?
Is the pearl a craft bead or a jewelry bead and would the center hole be different in size with different bead? Anyone else have this problem? Or am I the only one?
