Welcome to the first blanket of the 2025-26 Through the Bible CAL. The Seedtime Crochet Blanket will be crocheted from January 15, 2025- July 12, 2025.
We’ll be making 4 blankets over the course of 2 years. The colour scheme will represent the 4 seasons based on our theme from Genesis 8:22; seedtime, harvest, winter and summer. I have put together a Pinterest Board with blanket colour inspirations for all 4 of these.
We will be doing a simple moss stitch crochet blanket. All other details including what you’ll need for the Bible study, blanket pattern and colour suggestions, notes and tips can be found in the document below.

Almighty God, I praise You for bringing good things from hard times. You are kind to everyone and show compassion to all creation (Psalm 145:9). Today’s reading reveals how You saved the Egyptians and the world through Joseph’s wisdom. In the same way, Jesus’ suffering and resurrection gave us the gift of eternal life with You now and forever. You want all people to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4). You show Yourself to us, as even Pharaoh recognized Your voice through Joseph. God, I pray that the children will come to salvation; that they will know and love You. Help them keep their hearts open, and may their struggles lead to salvation and the blessings that come from following Jesus. With the gospel in their hearts at the core of their trust in You, I pray that You do what You did in Joseph’s life. Please make them fruitful in their afflictions. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
