Hi Evan! No, you’re not reading it wrong. The fourth round should read, Rnd 4: Ch 4 (counts as 1 dc & ch 1), 3 dc in next ch-1 space, (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in ch-3 sp. 1st corner made. (Ch 1, [3 dc in next ch-1 space] 2 times, (3 dc, ch 3, 2dc) in ch-3 space) 3 times. 2 dc in same space as beginning ch 4. Sl st into the 3rd ch of beginning ch 4. (48 dc, 4 ch-3 spaces & 12 ch-1 spaces). Hope that helps.

Thank you. The pictures look like there is a fourth round of the square before joining the cream and beginning to join the squares together but the pattern stops at round 3. Am I missing something? I’m a beginner so it’s likely I’m just reading the pattern incorrectly. Thanks!
