In our March 2025 Bible reading, we’ll dive back into the book of Genesis and then embark on an exciting adventure into the book of Exodus.

Please feel free to share your on thoughts on the readings in the comments section where others can engage with you as well. This is a chronological Bible reading plan. What that means is that instead of reading the Bible in order, we’ll be reading through according to how events took place.

Week 7 Continued.

Gen 42. He is Sovereign over our lives

Since Joseph was governor of all Egypt and in charge of selling grain to all the people, it was to him that his brothers came. When they arrived, they bowed before him with their faces to the ground. Although Joseph recognized his brothers, they didn’t recognize him.

Genesis 42:6, 8 NLT
  • Prayer point: Relationships, witnessing

Father, You are the Sovereign LORD. We praise You for being unchanging and for keeping Your promises. I pray as You taught us: Our Father in heaven, may Your name be honored. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth.

I pray for the children. Help them know You as the one true God who gathers every nation around Your throne. Send the gospel to them in a way they can understand. Use my life for this, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Gen 43-44. He invites us to communion with Him

When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the manager of his household, “These men will eat with me this noon. Take them inside the palace. Then go slaughter an animal, and prepare a big feast.

Thank you LORD for letting me be at your table; letting me feast on Your Word and goodness. For your grace that invites and allows us to be with you. May the children accept the invitation in Jesus name, Amen.
