Hello. Yes, you can use this method and stitch those you’ve already completed. I’d recommend using the whip stitch method as it’s closest in appearance to the join as you go method. you can see the tutorial here- https://www.morinesshop.com/whip-stitch/

Quick question… I started making hexagons & have a pile of them. Then I discovered this method! Can I do this join as you go method AND stitch those that I need to, or do you think there would be a noticeable difference in how the motifs are joined? Thanks!
