November 2025 Crochet Devotional- Through the Bible CAL

Join the November 2025 Crochet Devotional in the Seedtime Blanket CAL, featuring daily Scripture reflections, colour themes, and prayers.

The November 2025 Crochet Devotional Prayers are here! If you missed last month’s readings, you can start with October 2025 Crochet Devotional Prayers– the beginning of our Seedtime Blanket CAL journey through Scripture and prayer.

As we continue with the Seedtime Crochet Blanket, our first project in the 2025–27 Through the Bible CAL, we’re settling into a beautiful rhythm of prayer, reflection, and creativity. From October 1 to March 29, we’re crocheting a simple moss stitch blanket while journeying through Scripture — discovering who God is and lifting intentional prayers for the children and caregivers in our lives.

This CAL spans two years and four blankets, each representing a season from Genesis 8:22 — seedtime, harvest, winter, and summer. Each project’s colour palette captures the heart of its theme, and you’ll find plenty of inspiration on the Seedtime Pinterest board I’ve prepared.

Every daily devotional includes a Bible verse, prayer, and “He Is” statement to help us meditate on God’s character. To weave faith into creativity, each devotion also features a blanket colour reflection, reminding us that God’s presence is not only revealed in His Word but also in the quiet, faithful work of our hands.

Join the November 2025 Crochet Devotional in the Seedtime Blanket CAL, featuring daily Scripture reflections, colour themes, and prayers.

Furthermore, since this CAL is not only about reading through the Bible but also about lifting up prayers for the children in our lives—whether they are our own, adopted, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, neighbour’s kids, or even a child God places on your heart—each prayer is thoughtfully centred on them and the caregivers who nurture them.

Whether you’re following along stitch by stitch or simply seeking daily encouragement from Scripture, this devotional journey is meant to strengthen your faith, inspire heartfelt prayer, and remind you of God’s unfailing promises.

Daily Guide for November 2025 Crochet Devotional Prayers

Week 5 continued:

November 1: Genesis 25.

He Answers Prayer. God hears and answers the prayers of His people, but He also calls us to value what is holy. Esau traded his birthright for a single meal, choosing temporary satisfaction over lasting inheritance. As believers, we are reminded to hold fast to the spiritual birthright we have through Christ — one that can never be replaced by fleeting desires.

  • Blanket colour: Orange
  • Focus verse(s): Genesis 25:34; Hebrews 1:2; Psalm 2:7–8; Matthew 28:18; Romans 8:17; Galatians 3:29; Titus 3:7
  • Prayer point(s):
    • Gratitude for answered prayers
    • Wisdom to value what is godly over what is temporary
    • Understanding of our spiritual inheritance through Christ

Lord, thank You for hearing our prayers and granting what we need in Your perfect time. Teach every child to treasure their spiritual birthright and to choose lasting joy in Christ over fleeting pleasures. May they walk faithfully as heirs of Your promise. Amen.

Week 6:

November 2: Genesis 26.

November 3: Genesis 27.

He Is Sovereign. God’s plans are never hindered by human actions. Though Jacob and Esau’s story was filled with deception and strife, God’s sovereign purpose still prevailed. Within families, He calls us to pursue peace, extend grace, and trust that His will is greater than our failures or conflicts.

November 4: Genesis 28-29.

He Is the LORD Who Sees. God sees us in every season—our struggles, longings, and unseen sacrifices. Just as He saw Jacob’s journey and Leah’s pain, He is present in our lives with compassion and purpose. His provision flows from His love, reminding us that we are never forgotten or unseen by Him.

November 5: Genesis 30.

He Knows Our Desires. God remembers and responds to the cries of His people. Just as He remembered Rachel and opened her womb, He knows the longings of our hearts — even those we struggle to express. In His perfect timing, He answers according to His wisdom, shaping our desires to align with His good and loving will.

November 6: Genesis 31.

He Visits Us in Our Dreams. God sees into the hidden places of our hearts—our fears, motives, desires, and the things we cling to. In Genesis 31, He intervenes through dreams to protect, guide, and redirect. He still speaks today, calling us away from idols that promise much but deliver little, and inviting us to trust Him fully. True love—patient, kind, and selfless—flows only from a heart rooted in Him. As we listen for His voice and surrender competing affections, He shapes both our lives and the lives of the children we influence.

Father, free our hearts from every form of idolatry. Help every child trust You above all else and grow in a love that is patient, kind, and anchored in Christ. Teach us to rest securely in Your unfailing grace. Amen.

November 7: Genesis 32.

He Fights. God fights for His people and invites us to trust Him completely. Like Jacob, we learn that true strength is found in surrender — when we stop striving in our own power and depend fully on His promises. In every battle, God’s presence, grace, and faithfulness remain our greatest defense. As Charles Spurgeon wrote:

“The lives of many of the Lord’s chosen people alternate between ‘Israel’ and ‘Jacob.’ Sometimes we are strong in the Lord, and at another time we cry, ‘Who is sufficient for these things?’ We are Jacob before we are Israel; and we are Jacob when we are Israel; but blessed be God, we are Israels with God when we cease to be Jacobs among men.”

  • Blanket colour: Green
  • Focus verse(s): Genesis 32:9
  • Prayer point(s):
    • Surrendering fully to God in times of struggle
    • Trusting His presence and promises

Lord, thank You for being our defender and guide. Teach every child to surrender fully to You and to find peace in Your presence. May they walk in confidence, knowing You fight for them and fulfil every promise made in love. Amen.

November 8: Genesis 33.

He Is the God of Israel. God is the God of reconciliation. When Jacob and Esau met after years of conflict, grace triumphed over bitterness. Their story reminds us that healing is possible through humility, forgiveness, and love. Through Jesus, God has reconciled us to Himself, empowering us to pursue peace and restoration with one another.

Week 7:

November 9: Genesis 34-35.

He Is El-Shaddai, God Almighty. El-Shaddai—God Almighty—is both powerful and merciful. When faced with injustice, we are reminded that vengeance belongs to the Lord, not to us. His justice is perfect, His mercy unending. Even in a world filled with sin and pain, He calls us to respond with grace, trusting that His power will bring true righteousness and healing.

November 10: Genesis 36.

He Blesses. God’s blessings flow from His holiness. As He calls us to walk with Him, He invites us to live lives that reflect His character. Holiness is not about perfection but about growing closer to God and allowing His Spirit to shape our hearts. When we walk in holiness, we model a life of faith and obedience that inspires the next generation to follow Him wholeheartedly.

  • Blanket colour: Pink

November 11: Genesis 37-38.

He Redeems. Genesis 37–38 reminds us that God’s redemption is bigger than human failure. Joseph’s suffering and Judah’s brokenness show that God weaves His purposes through imperfect people and painful situations. He even brought the Messiah through a deeply flawed family line, proving that no story is beyond His reach. Transformation begins in the heart—long before actions change—with God working from the inside out. As our lives revolve around Christ, we point future generations to His grace, His sovereignty, and His redeeming love.

  • Blanket colour: Blue
  • Focus verse(s): Genesis 37:28, 38:29; Matthew 1:3
  • Prayer Point(s):
  • • Relationships: Sibling & Parental Restoration

Lord, thank You for Your wisdom, Your redeeming power, and the hope we see in Joseph’s story. Redeem the relationships in our families and shape our hearts before our actions. May every child—and every adult—find hope in Your ability to bring good from brokenness. Help our lives today point to the story of Jesus–in how we live, love, lead our families, and serve Your Church. Use our lives to reflect Your love and redemption, modelling the grace and hope found in Christ alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

November 12: Genesis 39.

He is with us. Joseph’s story shows that God’s presence remains steady even when life is unfair. The Lord strengthened Joseph to resist sin, upheld his integrity, and granted him favor in hard places. His nearness does the same for us — shaping our hearts, guarding us, and guiding us through every season.

November 13: Genesis 40.

He interprets dreams. God alone holds wisdom and understanding, and He never forgets His people. Even in seasons of waiting or confusion, His faithfulness remains steady. Just as He gave Joseph insight, He guides our children and us with clarity, presence, and perfect reliability when we seek Him.

.
  • Blanket colour: Green

Visit them in dreams and guide them with Your wisdom. Keep their hearts anchored in You, confident that You never forget Your own. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

November 14: Genesis 41.

He Speaks and He Lives. God’s voice still speaks, and His life still redeems. In Joseph’s story, we see a powerful truth—God brings fruit even through affliction. What seemed like years of pain became the pathway for salvation, not only for Egypt but for the world. Likewise, through the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus, we have received the fruit of eternal life. He is the Revealer of secrets and the Giver of rest, turning adversity into abundance and hardship into harvest.

Let their hardships draw them closer to Christ, not toward bitterness. Make them fruitful in affliction, grounded in the gospel and full of Your life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

November 15: Genesis 42.

He is Sovereign over our lives. God’s sovereignty weaves through every detail of our lives. Joseph’s story reminds us that even painful or confusing moments serve His greater purpose. Nothing is wasted in His hands, and His plans always move toward redemption, salvation, and the gathering of all peoples to Himself.

Week 8:

November 16: Genesis 43-44.

He invites us to communion with Him. In these chapters, we see a beautiful picture of invitation and intercession. Though the brothers carried guilt and fear, they were welcomed to the table. Communion is grace — undeserved yet freely given. God not only allows us near; He invites us close and provides deliverenace.

November 17: Genesis 45.

He is Sovereign. Joseph’s words reveal a steady confidence in God’s sovereignty. What others meant for harm, God used for preservation and purpose. Even through betrayal and suffering, the Lord was working out a greater plan. His sovereignty brings comfort, perspective, and hope in every season.

  • Blanket colour: Purple

November 18: Genesis 46.

He is El, God of Isaac. When Jacob feared the unknown, God revealed Himself as El, the faithful God of his fathers. His presence brought reassurance, direction, and promise. The same God still guides His people today — calling us forward, calming our fears, and assuring us that He goes with us wherever He leads.

November 19: Genesis 47-48.

He is Self-existent, Shepherd and Redeemer. Jacob’s blessing reveals a lifelong testimony — the self-existent God had been his Shepherd and Redeemer through every season. From Abraham to Isaac to Joseph and beyond, God remained faithful. His presence sustains generations, guiding, protecting, and redeeming His people according to His unchanging nature.

  • Blanket colour: Yellow

November 20: Genesis 49.

He is the Shiloh, the Mighty One of Jacob, Shepherd, the Stone of Israel. Jacob’s final blessing points beyond his sons to the coming Shiloh — the One to whom the scepter belongs. The Mighty One of Jacob is our Shepherd and unshakable Stone. From Him flow true blessings, strength, and inheritance that reach beyond generations into eternity.

  • Blanket colour: Purple

November 21: Genesis 50, Exodus 1.

November 22: Exodus 2-3.

He is I AM. When God revealed Himself as “I AM,” He declared His self-existence and sufficiency. He is not limited by circumstance or human weakness. The One who promised His presence to Moses still promises, “I will be with you.” Our help flows from who He is — eternal, faithful, and near.

Week 9:

November 23: Exodus 4.

He is Sovereign. When Moses felt inadequate, God reminded him that the Creator of the mouth would supply the words. His sovereignty includes His provision. He does not call His people and then abandon them to their weakness; He equips, empowers, and sustains them for every assignment.

  • Blanket colour: Pink
  • Verse(s): Exodus 4:12; 2 Corinthians 3:5; Philippians 4:19; Hebrews 13:21

November 24: Exodus 5-6.

He is Yahweh, the LORD. When discouragement weighed heavily on Israel, Yahweh revealed His covenant name — the LORD who is faithful and unchanging. Though hearts were crushed by harsh bondage, His promises remained sure. Seeing Him rightly restores perspective, renews strength, and anchors hope beyond circumstances.

.
  • Blanket colour: Purple

Yahweh, we praise Your holy name. Transform the children by renewing their minds, so they think in ways that honour You and see life from Your perspective, not the world’s. When strength fails, and hope feels distant, draw near and remind them, “I AM.” Restore their courage and anchor them in Your faithful presence. Amen.

November 25: Exodus 7.

He is the LORD. Through the signs in Egypt, God declared that He alone is the LORD. His power, justice, and mercy were revealed so that all would know Him. Salvation begins with recognising who He is — the supreme, holy, and sovereign God over all.

  • Blanket colour: Orange
  • Verse: Exodus 7:5; 2 Corinthians 3:2–3; Matthew 5:16; Psalm 96:3
  • Prayer point:

November 26: Exodus 8.

He is Present. In Exodus 8:22, God makes a distinction between His people and Egypt, revealing both His presence and His sovereignty. He is mighty and sufficient, giving mercy where He wills and allowing hardened hearts to follow their chosen path. Even judgment displays His glory, inviting all to know that He is the LORD.

  • Blanket Colour: Pink
  • Verse: Exodus 8:22; Romans 1:24, 28; Ephesians 3:10–11; Exodus 12:38

Let them reflect Jesus clearly in word and action, shining His light daily in a watching world. Through Christ our Saviour, Amen.

November 27: Exodus 9-10.

He is the Righteous One. Pharaoh sought compromise — a partial surrender that kept control in his own hands. But God requires full obedience: “Not a hoof shall be left behind” (Exodus 10:26) The righteous LORD does not bargain as an equal; He calls for wholehearted trust. True wisdom is complete surrender.

  • Blanket colour: Purple
  • Verse: Exodus 10:9, 24, 26; James 1:5; Proverbs 3:5–6; Romans 12:1
  • Prayer point:
    • Commands/Wisdom: Surrender Fully

Almighty God, You are Creator and LORD over all. Teach the children to surrender fully, not halfway. Guard them from compromise in their obedience, in the plans they make, and in how they steward their time, talents, and resources. When tempted to hold something back, give them courage to trust and obey You completely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

November 28: Exodus 11.

He is the Gracious and gives favour. Even in the midst of judgment and deliverance, God granted His people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. True favor flows from His sovereign hand, not human striving. When we hold fast to Him, He can cause others to see His presence and power at work in our lives.

November 29: Exodus 12.

He is Our Passover Lamb. The blood on the doorposts marked God’s people as redeemed and protected from judgment. The Passover lamb pointed forward to Jesus Christ, whose blood shields all who trust in Him. Salvation is not earned — it is received by faith under the covering of His sacrifice.

.
  • Blanket colour: Orange

Lord Jesus, I praise You for Your precious blood shed on the cross for us. Father, I pray that the children would place their full faith and trust in Christ’s finished work. May they find refuge from the judgment they deserve under the covering of His blood. Thank You for passing over us and granting salvation. Help us share this good news with others today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Week 10:

November 30: Exodus 13-14.

He is Our Sun and Shield. The LORD went before Israel as a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night — their light and protection. He was both guidance and defense. At the Red Sea, when fear rose and escape seemed impossible, God commanded them to stand still and watch Him fight for them. Despair paralyzes. Fear retreats. Impatience rushes ahead. Presumption acts without direction. But faith stands still under His leadership.

  • Blanket colour: Yellow
  • Verse: Exodus 13:16; Exodus 14:13–14; Psalm 84:11; Revelation 7:3
  • Prayer point:
    • Trust in Crisis
