Welcome to the April 2026 Crochet Devotional for the Harvesttime Blanket in our 2025–27 Through the Bible Crochet Along. This month marks a beautiful transition.
We’ve just completed the Seedtime Blanket — a season of beginnings, planting, and laying foundations in both our stitches and our time in Scripture.
Now, we step into Harvesttime — where we begin to see growth, fruit, and the unfolding of God’s work through the lives we read about.
The Harvesttime Blanket begins in Judges 7 and continues through the historical books, inviting us to reflect on God’s faithfulness, provision, and purpose across generations.
Whether you’re continuing from Seedtime or joining us for the first time, you are so welcome here.
There’s no “behind” in this journey — the Lord meets you right where you are.
If you’re just getting started, here are a few helpful resources to guide you:
Each day’s devotional includes:
- a Bible verse(s) to meditate on,
- a theme that reminds us who God is,
- a prayer focus for the children and caregivers in our lives,
- and a blanket colour reflection to guide your stitches.
As we crochet through this new season, may each stitch remind us:
God is faithful to bring every seed to harvest in His perfect time.

Daily Guide for April 2025 Crochet Devotional Prayers
Week 27:
March 29: Judges 7
He is Our Victory. God reduced Gideon’s army so victory would clearly be His. What looked like weakness became the very place His power was revealed. Sometimes God strips things down—not to leave us lacking, but to remind us where our strength truly comes from. His victories don’t depend on our numbers, but on His presence.
- Blanket Colour: Yellow
- Verses: Judges 7:2, 7
- Prayer point(s):
- God and His Kingdom- Trusting God’s strength over our own.
Lord, You are our victory. When I feel small or unprepared, help me trust that You are enough. Strip away anything in me that leans on self instead of You. Teach me to walk forward in obedience, even when the odds don’t make sense. Let my life be a testimony that it is not by my strength, but by Yours. Amen.
March 30: Judges 8
He is The Faithful Deliverer Gideon begins well, pointing the people back to God as their true ruler. But even after victory, subtle compromises begin to appear. It’s a reminder that finishing well matters just as much as starting well. God is faithful to deliver—but we are called to remain faithful in how we respond afterward.
- Blanket Colour: Green
- Verses: Judges 8:23
- Prayer point:
- Commands/ Wisdom- Faithfulness after victory.
Lord, You are the Faithful Deliverer. Thank You for the ways You’ve shown up in my life. Help me not to forget You after the victory. Guard my heart from subtle compromises and misplaced focus. Teach me to walk in humility and faithfulness, giving You the glory in every season—both during the battle and after it. Amen.
March 31: Judges 9
He is The Righteous Judge. Abimelek’s story is marked by ambition and destruction. What was built through selfish gain eventually unraveled. God, in His justice, did not overlook the evil done. It’s a sobering reminder that while sin may seem to prosper for a time, God remains just and will bring all things into account.
- Blanket Colour: Green
- Verses: Judges 9:56–57
- Prayer point: Protection Against Sin and Its Consequences- Walking in integrity and trusting God’s justice.
Lord, You are the Righteous Judge. In a world where injustice can seem unchecked, remind me that You see and You know. Keep my heart from selfish ambition or harming others to get ahead. Help me walk in integrity, trusting that Your justice is sure. Shape my life in a way that honors You, even when it’s costly. Amen
April 1: Judges 10
He is the Compassionate Saviour. Even after repeated turning away, the people cry out—and God’s heart is moved by their suffering. His compassion is not easily exhausted. Though discipline comes, His desire is still to restore. It reminds us that no matter how many times we fall, God remains ready to receive us when we return.
- Blanket Colour: Orange
- Verses: Judges 10:15–16
- Prayer point:
- Salvation- Genuine repentance and returning to God
Lord, You are the Compassionate Saviour. Thank You that Your mercy meets me even when I fail. Help me not to take Your grace lightly, but to truly turn back to You with a sincere heart. Remove anything that pulls me away from You, and draw me closer each day. Let my life reflect a genuine repentance. Amen.
April 2: Judges 11
He is the God Who Sees the Heart. Jephthah’s story shows that God sees beyond rejection and can still use us. Yet it also reveals the weight of our words. In trying to secure victory, he made a vow that led to sorrow. God desires trust and obedience—not rushed decisions made in fear or pressure.
- Blanket Colour: Yellow
- Verses: Judges 11:29–31
- Prayer point:
- Meditation and Reflection- Trusting God without striving or fear-driven decisions.
Lord, You are the God who sees my heart. Thank You that my past does not disqualify me from Your purposes. Help me to trust You fully, without striving or making fearful bargains. Guard my words and decisions, and teach me to walk in wisdom. Let my life be shaped by obedience and trust, not pressure or fear, in Christ’s name, Amen.
April 3: Judges 12
He is the Prince of Peace. The Shibboleth moment shows how something as small as speech became a line of division and death. What began as tension grew into destruction. It reveals how quickly pride can separate us. Yet it also points us to Christ—the Prince of Peace—who came not to destroy, but to restore hearts to God and one another.
- Blanket Colour: Orange
- Verses: Judges 12:5–6
- Prayer point:
- Relationships- Unity, humility, and guarding our words
Lord, You are the Prince of Peace. Where pride and division rise so easily, teach us to walk in humility and grace. Guard our words, our attitudes, and our responses. Heal the places where division has taken root—within us, our families, and our communities. As we remember Christ, lead us in Your truth—not to harm, but to restore. Help us reflect Your peace in how we speak, love, and live. Amen.
