Notes:
- Read through the pattern before starting your work just to be sure you don’t have any questions that might cause frustration while working on the project.
- This is a Tunisian crochet pattern. If you are unfamiliar with the terms used or need refresher, please visit Honeycomb Stitch tutorial, Tss tutorial and Tps tutorial.
- Repeating sections within the rounds are shown in round () brackets followed by the number of times they are repeated e.g. (TssC, TpsC) 6 times means the sequence in the brackets must be repeated a total of 6 times using yarn in colour C.
- Stitch totals are not indicated. This is because the piece is a rectangle thus the stitch total stays the same.
- Row 3: (TssB) 22 times, (TpsC, TssC)… means that row 3 Begins in Colour B where as Row 5: (TssA) 21 times, (TssC, TpsC)… means that Row 5 begins in Colour A. Colour C is worked towards the end of the row.
- Colour changes are either worked in the middle of your work or at the end of the Return Pass (RetP).
- If in the middle, once you have one loop left of the old colour, continue the RetP in the new colour as shown below
- If at the end of the RetP, join in the new colour in the last 2 loops of the final stitch as shown below
- A lining is added to the complete pouch.
- You can choose to either work with a straight or a corded tunisian hook. Both work fine for this pattern.

Finishing:
- Block out your piece. This is an optional step but it makes it easier to sew the zipper.
- Fold your piece in half with the right sides facing each other and sew the two opposite edges closed using whip stitch method starting at the top.
When you get to the last stitch, pinch your piece as shown below and sew across. This with give the pouch a small base one finished.
